How Erika Tymrak Uses CBD to Recover
How you recover is just as important as how you train. I say this after four years of collegiate soccer followed by eight years of professional soccer. My extensive background in sports has definitely given me the obvious wear and tear on my body. But as I grew as an athlete, the more energy I put into recovery and taking care of my body. As I began to invest in my recovery, I quickly noticed how much better my body felt and performance improved.
The A88CBD™ line has definitely cemented a place in my daily recovery routine. The muscle salve is without a doubt a savior for my feet, ankles, and calves. Being a competitive soccer player for 20+ years definitely has its downsides: tight calves, countless rolled ankles with scar tissue galore, and crunchy feet. I use the muscle salve after I run to rub out my problem areas. I’m able to work it into my ankles while breaking up the scar tissue. I’ll rub it into the arches of my feet followed by a lacrosse ball to really work my arches. And I’ll end with rubbing it into my shins in an upward motion, pushing any inflammation up to disperse elsewhere.
The lotion has been great to start and end the day with. I have extremely dry skin and I live in a desert-like climate which is unforgiving in the summertime. The lotion has been noticeably hydrating and long-lasting. It smells great, isn’t greasy or oily, and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and smooth. Paired with the lip balm, these two products have been my go-to essential products in these dry California summers.
Unwinding with CBD Oil
The CBD tincture has been great for unwinding after a long day. My favorite way to end the day is to put my phone away, make a cup of tea, and read my book in the evening. I’ll make a Golden milk latte (almond milk, turmeric, cinnamon, vanilla + cinnamon tea) and I’ll add the tincture which actually pairs well with the flavors.
Whether it’s to soothe my sore muscles and joints after a hard run or help me relax after a long day, A88CBD™ products have become part of my daily essentials that help better my mind and body.
